Various environmentally aged plastic wastes were collected from the environment and crushed to the submicronic scale to get a mix of nanoplastics (NPs) of different natures – mostly polyolefins (PE, PP), polyesters (PET), polyvinylics (PS and PVC) and undefined shapes (denoted NP-L, mean hydrodynamic diameter of 285 nm).
