A new hybrid compound was synthesized via the covalent grafting of vanadium-substituted Wells-Dawson type polyoxometalate (Bu4N)5H4[P2W15V3O62] to folic acid. The cytotoxic effect of the resulted bioactive hybrid compound was investigated on cervical (HeLa) and human breast (MCF-7) cancer cells. (258 characters)
